2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 conventional towing ratings
Compare all 51 published configurations from printed pages 26–27 of the 2025 Chevrolet Trailering Guide. Each row keeps its exact cab, bed, drivetrain, engine, package, wheel, and ZR2 distinctions.
What these tables cover
These are Chevrolet's maximum conventional trailer-weight and gross combined weight rating (GCWR) comparison values for the listed configurations. Gooseneck and fifth-wheel ratings are outside this page's scope.
Payload, GVWR, GAWR, curb weight, axle ratio, transmission, and configuration-specific tongue-load limits are not supplied by these table rows and are not inferred here.

Guide notes that apply
- 1: Maximum trailering ratings are comparison values; the specific vehicle can vary, and passengers, cargo, options, and accessories can reduce towable weight. All values in the Max conventional towing (lbs.) columns on printed pages 26-27.
- 2: GCWR includes the properly equipped vehicle and trailer combination, driver, passengers, fuel, optional equipment, and cargo in both vehicle and trailer. All values in the GCWR (lbs.) columns on printed pages 26-27.
- General Trailering Notes: Where available, the Z82 Trailering Package provides a hitch platform plus 7-pin and 4-pin sealed rear-bumper connectors. Table-level equipment note on printed pages 26-27; it does not assert that every row includes Z82.
- Tongue Weight Notes: The guide gives a general 10%-15% loaded-trailer tongue-weight range, defers to the trailer owner manual where applicable, and prohibits exceeding RGAWR, GVWR, or maximum trailer tongue load. Table-level operating guidance on printed pages 26-27; not a configuration-specific hitch or tongue-weight rating.
Read the publication methodology, source and revision policy, or the guide to GVWR, GCWR, and GAWR; then check a loaded scenario.
